Description

Sand eels are one of the major food groups for predators on the Atlantic seaboard, in particular striped bass, bluefish, bonito, and false albacore. Millions of these tiny eels spawn in the east coast estuaries and create a major link in the food chain best imitated by this Softy Sand Eel. These lifelike eel flies are just the thing for a night on the beach when the eels are stacked thick against the beach and the stripers are feeding.
