Go fly fishing on the Wallowa and Grande Ronde Rivers with Orvis-endorsed Eastern Oregon River Outfitters. We came to be out of our love and desire for catching quality fish among remote beauty. Northeast Oregon provides all of that while floating and fishing the “Wild and Scenic” Grande Ronde and Wallowa Rivers. Whether you are looking for a single day of fishing, or a multi-day camp trip, our knowledgeable and professional guides focus on every detail of the day. From the time we meet until you are happily on your way, your satisfaction, enjoyment, and safety are our top priorities while sharing a great experience on the water.
We offer both guided day trips and guided multi-day camp trips. The remote region that we operate in provides us not only with unpressured, world-class wild rainbow trout and steelhead fishing, but also with wilderness scenery and wildlife viewing that is sure to impress any nature lover. All of our multi-day camp trips operate on the roadless, “Wild and Scenic” section of the Grande Ronde River. Nestled within the blue mountains, the dramatic river canyon and mixed coniferous forests create a beautiful and remote backdrop for a fishing expedition. Our local guides enjoy explaining the history and archeology of the region while also placing you in the most productive pieces of water. We always say, be ready to cast a lot, as your guide will continuously row you from the best riffle to run while you continue to fish in between. Add in the abundant number of rainbow trout, some being measured in pounds, and not inches, and each day is sure to engage and bring success for anglers of all skill levels. Steelhead season also adds another element to the fun as we begin to fish a wide array of tactics throughout the day, while often stopping to spey cast and swing flies. Depending on the season, we will either operate out of our 17ft aluminum drift boats or our 14ft fishing rafts. Both offer a comfortable and effective place to cast and fish, while your guide places the boat in the best water.
