The Stillwater lake is set in the beautiful valley in the Peak District. It is small with a relaxing feeling and very little noise apart from the sounds of wildlife. A local pub called the Ship Inn serves excellent food.

The River Ribble location is in the Ribble Valley in Lancashire. There are about 1 &#189 miles of river to explore, from fast streamy runs to deeper glides. The nearest road is about a mile away, nice and peaceful. Kingfishers, little egrets, red kites, and buzzards are regularly seen. At the downstream end of the beat, The Aspinall Arms is a good choice for food.

The River Nith in Scotland offers accommodation whilst on the residential course at the Friars Carse Hotel. The Nith is just over the border from England, not far from Gretna Green, and the Dark Sky Park and an area known for its links to famous Scottish poet Robbert Burns. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and accommodating, and the food is excellent.

Cheshire Fly Fishing (CFF) as a business was born around 2010 out of a passion for fly fishing that I have had for about 30 years. I felt the time was right to help other anglers enjoy this great sport, so I undertook some exams to make sure my casting techniques were up to standard, and slowly, CFF has grown. I have fished in some wonderful places in England and New Zealand and saltwater fished yearly in the USA, and I’ve met some great people along the way.
