Description

They don’t call it the Killer Bug for no reason. Originated by the famed English river keeper Frank Sawyer, this simple but highly effective scud will fool even the spookiest of fish. The fly is best fished with an “induced take” – sight cast, let the fly drift toward the fish, and as the fly nears its target raise your rod making the fly rise up in the water. The action renders the fly irresistible to trout and grayling. The Killer’s ability to be a true multi-purpose fly makes it a must-have in every fly box.
