Dave Pecci is a US Coast Guard Captain, a Registered Master Maine Guide, and a member of the Yamaha National Fishing Team. He has received the Orvis Guide of the Year and Coastal Conservation Association of Maine Sportsman of the Year Awards. His services include personalized, guided fishing trips for tarpon, redfish, snook, sea trout and several other species in the Punta Gorda, Pine Island, and Boca Grande region of Southwest Florida. All levels of experience are welcomed. Whether you’re an experienced angler or new to fly fishing, you will be comfortable with Captain Dave. He will tailor your trip to your abilities and preferences. He can also provide casting instruction.

Captain Dave has been spending his winter months guiding in Charlotte Harbor for the past 10 years. He and his lovely wife Barb have a winter home in Port Charlotte at the head of the Harbor. From there, he can access all the area’s launch sites from Pine Island to Boca Grande in short order. The Harbor is an ecological jewel. Over 80% of the shoreline is protected from development. You’ll see manatees, porpoise, ospreys, eagles, and a variety of shorebirds on your trip. Fully licensed and insured. No fishing license required. Major credit cards accepted. Dave has been providing quality guided experiences for more than 25 years.
